I received Heat two days ago and the first CD today. I'm about halfway through Heat so far (left it in the car last night - DOH!). I am enjoying it so far, but I'm waiting until I've finished the CD to post favorite tracks. The other one is on my agenda for this weekend, but I also have a Snow Patrol concert on Monday and I'm trying to brush up on some of their older material so it might be a couple days.

On a related note, I'm embarrassed to admit that I spent many years not really listening to much new music (new to me) or to bands that were not "big" and I've come to regret that choice. My thinking was that since I enjoyed concerts SO MUCH, that if the bands didn't stay together or never amassed a large enough fan base to support a major US tour, I didn't want to like them because I would never see them in concert and would be sad when they eventually broke up. Last summer when I saw Journey and subsequently dove head first into JSS's career, I snapped out of this mindset. Look at how much great stuff I've missed of his alone by not being receptive to new music! And just think of all the other great music I am not aware of yet!

Thanks so much to Thierry and everyone on this forum for posting other artists that you enjoy - it has begun to introduce me to much of what I was missing.

Sorry that ended up being so long...but I just needed to put that out there.
