Unfortunately, there is no loyalty in the music business because that's what it is; a business. I know it's not an excuse for treating people like shit but that's how it is.
The past 7 days have been filled with dissapointments for me so this is just the icing in the cake.

I just don't know what to say about this. It's complete bullshit. The band announced that he was the new permanent singer and now all of a sudden "thanks for stepping in"!!!!! What the fuck is that!!!!!! I've been a Journey fan for years. The first time I ever saw them was about 5 years ago. I thought they were good but I wasn't overly impressed by SA. I refused to go see them on tour last year until Jeff took over. I saw them twice in the states and then again in London. Journey has made a huge mistake.

Like everyone else here I'm going to support Jeff in whatever he choses to do. I have been a fan since the Yngwie days. I have never met anyone in the music business that is so dedicated to his fans and so genuine.

Me too - like a lot of people here I only really knew a few Journey songs before Jeff joined them and he was the (only?) reason I went to see them, and I *was* really impressed with the live show, much more than their LPs. Will I bother now that Jeff is no longer with them? Sincerely doubt it, and thats if I'm feeling generous!

So, am I the only one that has taken Journey off of my friends list at myspace? I deleted their sorry asses this morning! I'm not sorry, they fucked up and now, they've lost a fan! I don't think they will ever bounce back from this mistake. Jeff was the best thing to ever happen to them, he CANNOT be replaced! You can't replace the best! Looks like we will all get to see the fall of Journey (again).

My first clue that something was going on was when I saw their profile photo didn't have Jeff in it, I went to the page and it still had his name as the singer. I knew something was up though.

We all know who the real talent in that band was, JEFF! He doesn't need them, neither do I. Jeff kicks ass on his own!

Journey were almost dead before Jeff joined the band. He injected life to a band from another century, and that's how they have paid him...

It's a shame, but in my opinion Journey have signed its death sentence, not only because all the fans are now against their coward manners, but also nobody will be able to replace Jeff, his energy on stage his voice...

I guess only time will tell, but I'd bet everything I own that Journey's countdown to extintion has begun...

And Jeff, if you happen to read this, I would like to gibe you all my support and a big hug... I'm terribly sorry about it (

But I wouldn't like to finish this post without thinking in the positive way... maybe Talisman's Farewell tour wasn't a real Farewell... all the Talisman fans, with my sisters Nath, Stefy and Maura in the front are waiting for that LOVELY band to come back, with Brian Y at the guitar if possible!!!

Nope, they're gone off my list too... but not before I left them a comment telling them exactly what I think lol! All the comments have to be approved so it'll never get on to their page but at least it's telling their management or whoever runs it what I think!

Just want to say that I'm a JSS fan...not a Journey fan . I'm sure Jeff is so displeased now but I'm sure that sooner or later he will receive all the recognition that he really deserves.

I think I agree with you too! I am sad to hear the news as I have been brought up on Journey, but I will always be true to Jeff too !
Jeff is my favourite singer, no he's much more than that. He's an all round great entertainer and I think the true fans will always stand by him no matter what!
