What did I think of the show?

It was the second time I see Journey Live. The first was with Steve Augeri in Holland last year in the Arrow festival! So with the Las Vegas DVD also with Augeri, I can compare the + that JSS put in Journey: his freshness, his joy to be here, his stage presence(the man know how to move, but you already know that) and most of all a powerfull voice who fit well the Journey songs who are very very hard stuff for a singer.
To rest his voice, Deen Castronovo sings the beautiful ballads and Deen know how to sing them!
So the powerfull songs are for Jeff and what songs, like I said Edge of a Blade kills me for exemple, but Faith in a heartland did very well and I didn't talk about all the classics Journey stuff!
The two hours show were like a few seconds for me, I was so happy to be here and to see Journey again!

But, there is a but! At the arrow festival last year the audience was much, much better, the crowd was on fire to compare to Glasgow! I think the fault is not the Scotts but the place and the preseated tickets! Everybody were upright but I'm not accustomed to seats in a rock concert!
I like to be compressed and made deaf by a crowd of fans in madness!

Happy the ones who'll see Journey in a few days!

I know you are a long time Journey fan and knowing how good Jeff fitted the band's stuff is simply great! No doubts about it however... Jeff can aim at whatever he wants to!

Believe it or not, I've seen of my own eyes JSS fans seating at that show! I was shocked . I have the names!!!!

I just think of the poor Lisl, I don't want her to end in prison!!!!

Maybe she'll be pardoned for that act of course, but we can't be sure at 100%!

Why should she be sent into prison????? Eliminating the "so-called fans" is a nice gesture to the whole society!!!!

When I was at the Newcastle concert last week obviously me and my boyfriend wanted to be up on our feet for Danny's set, but the miserable woman behind me told me to sit down! I said no and she went and complained to the steward!!!! He came over and told me to sit down and I didn't argue with him incase he threw me out but I had a right argument with the woman behind me -

I was absolutely FUMING!!! I made sure I was sat up at straight as I could with my arms in the air the whole time instead.

I've already said that next week, NO-ONE is gonna make me sit down during Danny's set - I'll just move to a different spot every time someone complains!

Someone I know who was at the Glasgow show was told to sit down too and even Tony (Danny's guitarist on stage) had told her to ignore the steward! Hehehe!

All that mess for someone who didn't care about the support act!

That's a shame what happened to you Lea! You paid your ticket like this stupid woman. If she wasn't able to see, she had 3 possibilities!

1. To stand up
2. To move her ass elsewhere
3. To stay seated, after all she wasn't here for the support act, so she should have not care about seeing it or not!!!

And next time, she needs to go to a Julio Iglesias gig, where everybody remains seated because they're sleeping!

Lea, I'm sorry to hear about your incident with the you-know-what during the Danny V set! Ugh. Happened to me at a local concert as well! Some people can just be soooo rude. It's common sense that when you're going to a concert [ESPECIALLY A ROCK ONE!] you better be prepared to stand up (and shout! HAHAH)!

Believe it or not, I have seen people sit at rock concerts.... Beyond me how anyone can actually choose to buy a ticket to a show only to sit down and act like that are watching a movie
I even mentioned that to Jonathan Cain after the show in Clearwater...he agreed!!
