Well, yesterday marked another triumph for JSSB - my biased view was that they were the best in show - the rest was almost wallpaper.
To see Jeff, Howie, gary and Dave back in action was nothing short of ear candy.

Its hard to do a report because it went so fast - but JSSB pulled out most f the heavy guns and showcased 4 of the new demo tracks, with Sam Grow on two of them.

Was it worth the 16+ hours in flying time and a lost weekend - you bet.

I hadn't told the Boss I was going and appeared in the merch crowd asking for something to be signed - the look on his face - pure magic.

Off home in a couple of hours.

IT WAS AMAZING!!! This was my first time seeing JSS without Journey and I was blown away. He definitely should have been the headliner. I didn't write down a setlist, so hopefully someone else did. I'm uploading photos now and will post any good ones, but not til after work.

Amazing. Just amazing. Sigh.

It was also great meeting several people from the board...Giosi, Kimterp, Moonbeam...and seeing Renegade and Sherrie again. I hope one of them has more to say about the show. I'm practically speechless.

I'm so glad you all had a great time and what an experience, I'm sure!! I can imagine the look on Jeff's face when you showed up Uncle HeFTy! That must have been killing you inside to get to that point!

I just got in from the airport....had to check this even though I am sooooooooo exhausted! It was great to see Jeff again and meeting everyone else...KIm, Tracy, Deb and most of all Pam who I must thank from the bottom of my heart for her great spirit ! I loved meeting Uncle Hefty...

i DON'T EVEN THINBK A WHOLE ROW OF BOUNCES CAN DESCRIBE THIS SHOW! IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!

First.....Kim it was great to finally meet you............wanted to hang out after the show, but my sis wasn't feeling well so had to leave........

This show kicked some major ass!!! (I hope it's o.k. to say that on here). Jeff was smokin' Saturday night! I especially loved the part when he told everyone in the back to come down to the front........he didn't have to ask twice.....my sis and I were in the aisle rockin' to Jeff with some really great people around us! Everyone I talked to just loved the show! My fave part was the medley with "Play that Funky Music".........and the new material is outstanding!

To anyone who missed this show.......I'm so sorry you missed one of the greatest shows I've EVER seen a performer put on.....and I've seen a lot! Jeff's performance in South Bend will definitely go down in my book as one of the greatest...right up there with Aerosmith and the Leps!

Keep up the good work Jeff........you are PHENOMINAL!!!!! Sorry I didn't get to meet you.......hopefully next time!

You know, for me te pleasure is seeing the pleasure on the faces of the audience, young old, new and long-standing. As I watched the fans queue up to meet Jeff, it is obvious that this guy holds a special place in the hearts of many - including this old roadie.

Saturday night in South Bend was like watching 4 years fall away. That the band simply did what it does best - entertains and has fun - was and is probably the enduring quality of the Jeff Scott Soto Band.

Hearing the 4 new songs live for the first time was, for me at least, the highlight. 21st Century was outstanding, but hearing Gin & Tonic Sky (even as part of the medley) was the real clincher. I have long felt that this song is both commercial and worthy of huge and wide exposure - perhaps even as the backdrop to a drinks ad (Gordons anyone?).

I was too flaked to do the aftershow (despite the invite) amd would have loved an opportunty to thank Andrew personally for his immense hospitality and kindness to this old duffer, wife and dear friends Sue & Dave. That we (like most of the Brits) travelled out on Friday and back on Sunday ought to be testament to the hard work that Andrew put in.

Here's to Oz and the future.

Turns out I have a lot of pretty decent photos! I have posted them on myspace.com/lep4life in an album appropriately titled "Melodic Rock Fest 2007." I also sent them to Kim to get posted on the JSSExtras website if you are not a myspace user.

I went to the MR show and had the time of my life. I met up w/ Tracy there (we always run into each other) Jeff was FANTASTIC, that seems like an understatement. Words can't describe it. I was in the 10th row until Jeff told us all to move closer to the stage, I moved up to the 3rd row I got some pictures, they are in my pictures section at my myspace page. I also took a few videos, 2 of Jeff, one of Scrap Metal and 2 short clips of 7th Heaven. Oh, guess what? I finally met Jeff! He was so nice! That man just keeps impressing me.

Hi Everyone! Did ANYONE by chance record the JSS portion of the South Bend Show? If so, please, please let me know.............I saw some people recording it, but didn't have a chance to make a connection with them at the show...........

I think it would have been a great idea if Jeff recorded his shows and then after the show sold the cd's......was at a Foreigner show at a small venue where they did that once and it rocked..........almost EVERYONE there bought them...........

So if anyone can help....please let me know! Thanks peeps!
