I am not, normally, driven to exasperation but if this is true it is beyond comprehension. I had heard, from a reliable source that Journey are auditioning a guy called jeremey, surely this cannot be the same one?

And just as I had become used to Journey songs.

Bananarama had a wonderful song (taken from a much ealier time) "It ain't what you do, its the way what you do it!" (sic)

The plot has been lost, can anyone help Cain and Unable find it?

Hello there! I can tell you that it IS the same Jeremey that everyone is talking about.

Believe it or not - he (and his band) were actually backstage when I was at the show in Columbia, SC so I briefly met him back there - courtesy of JSS. I personally don't know much more about him - just remember meeting him, his wife and band that night.

After the Tiny guitarist we have the singing clown... no I found it totally normal. To see Journey you'll have to go to the Circus now!

My first thoughts about the Jeremey issue - You simply CAN'T replace JSS. Once you've had JSS, there's no turning back. I pity him having to fill for JSS now. JSS was able to turn so many fans on to Journey and to himself because of everything he gives, day in and day out. It's his passion and it seeps through him.

I can't say anything negative about Jeremey because I don't know him. The show I'm referring to was back in November, so no they didn't know anything at that time. Remember that was actually before JSS was named as their official lead singer. That said though - I just thought it was odd that he was there thanks to JSS. It's just like him though to do that...

I honestly think in the end - this will work out for everyone involved. Jeremey - if he gets it - will have a dream come true and JSS will be even more successful now. I, like many others, am just bitter over HOW it was all dealt. You just don't treat people that way...

I've known Jeremey from MR, and also "another forum" that I am on ( Nath- you know where I mean )

While Jeremey is a very good singer, and a really nice guy- I hope to heck he doesn't take the job because...

1- If they did this to Jeff- who is a known, well respected, seasoned professional- What the Hell will they do to Jeremey???? They've already apparently put him on a "gag" order- he hasn't been on any of the boards for about 2 weeks ( totally unlike him!)

2- The band is done. Over. Toast. Even Jeremey can't help resurect it. And to have him join, and loose both his nice Job in the "real world" along with his much-enjoyed stint in Frontiers, is just plain dancing with the devil. And when the "Journey" ends- where will he be????

It just isn't pretty. If Jeremey goes out there ( and I believe he did this past week sometime) I hope he enjoys meeting Frick and Frac- and then tells them he's not interested!
