| Ok dudes - I'm going to the Florida show in Pompano Beach Fla. I am sh\ting in my pants cuz I haven't been on a plane since 1998. I've always been afraid of planes, but would still travel. Then I had my son, and it scared me even more. Then after 9/11 (knowing someone on flight 11) - I was DONE with planes. But my friends are annoyed with me since they want to travel!! Sooooo we are going to the pompano beach show! Except I may have a heart attack before I leave.. I have front row tix which is great - but I am a freakin' nervous wreck!

heeellpp! I completely understand how you're feeling, I am the same way. I am TERRIFIED of flying, absolutely TERRIFIED! I would have to get some sedatives to take before I get on a plane. But, I would fly if it meant seeing Jeff perform, it would be worth it just to see him perform again. I think you'll be fine and I'll be thinking about you! Good Luck! | |

| I used to be the same way about flying but I decided a few years ago that I was not going to miss out on certain things because of my fear of flying. I did get over it but I'm still a little nervous about flying. Now I miss everything due to being poor! ha ha I'm going to miss the Florida dates because they are so far away from me and I have no money to travel. Teri | |

| Hey Kim, Breathe.. LOL! Actually saying that is alot easier than doing it. A couple weeks ago was the first time in 14 years I'd been on a plane. I flew from Florida to California for the ARF Rocks show. It's not that bad.. by the time I came back to Florida, I was quite ok with it. I missed seeing how beautiful it could be above the clouds. Take some music to listen to and you'll be fine. I did that the whole way there and back, makes it alot easier. | |

| Teri, if I lived closer to you, we could go in together on travel expenses and go see Jeff there somewhere. My best friend and I do that and that's how we were able to go see 2 shows last year. I've already made her promise me that if Jeff comes back to Indiana (and he'd better) or any of the surrounding states, that she'll go see him w/ me | |

| Hi everyone Needless to say - I am exhausted. My flight was at 7:15 this morning. I feel like I've been run over by a truck. The show was incredible. Jeff has said in the past that one of his influences was Steve Perry - he does sing with that certain "perry" sound. This show, he owned. Each show (imo) gets better. His voice stronger which a seemingly smooth transition to those freakin' super high notes. There was 3 of us there. Luckily we had front row. We had walked up to the barricade and the security guards said "you can't stand here." I said "um.. you mean we have to sit in our seats or stand at our seats? I've never heard of that. Why?" The security guard said "YOU CAN THANK THE BAND FOR THAT!" It didn't sound like the band would say that - but that is what they were telling people. Anyway, show started a bit late and when they came on .. everyone just ran up to the barricade. We did too cuz I wasn't about to have people in front of me when I had front row. I got smashed into the barricade a few times - yowch. I wish I could remember the whole set list. They mixed it up a bit and did some Journey songs I haven't heard in 20 years. But Jeff's voice was in Killer form. He kept squirting this vocal stuff in his mouth. People around us were asking what it was. I said what I thought it was - was - "vocal lube" lol - I have used it myself when performing. Just polishin' the pipes and keeping them moist. (If anyone was wondering) Well thats what I assumed it was - unless he was using a big ole can of binaca. The show was just crazy fun- it was not a huge venue which was wonderful. It was sold out and the audience was having a blast. It was a fun, fun show. Jeff's voice is sounding insanely good. The whole band did. On a more personal note. The 3 of us girls had gone to the beach Saturday so we could get 'a little' color before the show. Well, since we are all from the Northeast - going to the beach in February is like heaven! So we just stayed and swam and stayed.. uh huh. We got back to teh hotel feeling a bit steamy.. so had some drinks to numb the pain and took some showers. When I looked in the mirror a few hours later after the sun had SET into my skin.. I resembled somewhat of a purple / red GRAPE! (which always happens first then I get very brown cuz I am italian ) I almost shit my pants.. I looked radioactive. I had to put a ton of make up on to tone down the glowing orb known previously known as my FACE. Anyway.. I'm hoping that I will get to go to another show.. since I heard they canceled the 4th of July one here in Mass. So fingers crossed. Thanks for all the support guys for my flight xo Kim Pics coming - My buddy Laurie took the pics - I suck at it |
