Journey to play NEW SONG Live next week

In related news, vocalist Jeff Scott Soto has been getting ready for the last Journey gig of 2007 on May 12 in Virginia. At this show the band will debut a brand new song - the first since JSS joined the ranks. Titled Wings Of Freedom, the song is a tribute to the people of Virginia in memory of the recent tragic VT shootings.
Jeff dropped into the site's Journey message board as he often does, and posted this update about the song: "It sounds killer if I might say so, a testament of what's to come. It starts off kinda like When You Love A Woman but it's not a traditional Journey ballad, especially lyrically." In regards to the next Journey album, Jeff added: "we'll be at full swing writing by late June, probably recording by Fall & album out by early next year."

I caught that on the Journey backtalk...excited to hear it and I can't wait to get the new Journey CD with JSS name as lead singer!
