| Ok everyone - this subject is touchy for me. I spend a small fortune to go to my concerts and get good seats.
The prices have more than doubled in less than 2 years. And the now we have the 5 star which a lot of fans can't afford.
What do you all think? |

| I completely agree with you. The prices are outrageous. We can all hope Ozzy is going to create a trend by having free admission to OzzFest this year. | |

| Ticket prices are getting more and more outrageous! I don't know who is in charge of setting the ticket prices but something has to give. I paid $85 a ticket to go see Lep and Journey last summer, I saw them twice and paid the same amount the 2nd time as well. For the 2nd show, I was a member of Def Leppard's fan club and got great seats during the fan club pre sale. Now, I'd pay that much to see Lep or Journey again but I wouldn't pay that much to go see just anyone. | |

| On top of ticket prices, gas prices are CRAZY! My best friend and I spent $70 just on gas going to the last Lep and Journey show and then I bought a t-shirt, that was somewhere between $30 and $40 (I can't remember..lol) That's alot of money to some people. | |

| A LOT of people nowadays are blaming the rise in concert ticket prices due to the backstage demands of the bands/performing artists. Now, I'm not sure if it is true, buuut it is verrrry interesting to look at and analyze with the thought of outrageous ticket prices in mind. I found this website that actually gets the backstage contract riders from specific acts and displays them on the page. Just LOOK at what some of these artists ask for! Some of them are just RIDICULOUS ANNND the venue HAS to not only provide every single thing that they ask for, but a great majority of the time they have to pay for it! Take a look! http://www.thesmokinggun.com/backstagetour/index.html | |

| Yes... really interesting Victoria thanks!!! Well... some requests just left me speechless and some made me laugh my ass off... LOL!!!! Have a look everyone!!! Backstage demands from artists do count as for the final ticket price we're all going to pay.... useless to deny that music industry is first of all, or mostly, BUSINESS!!!! Stefy | |

| Two years ago I went to a benefit show put on by Tesla for the nightclub fire in Rhode Island. The guys in Tesla and Carmen Appice's band were great but they had another up and coming band with them that wanted all kinds of crazy expensive food backstage. It was a benefit for a charity and they had the nerve to do that. I don't get it! | |

| No problem :] As Stefy said, some of them are HILARIOUS and others OUTRAGEOUS. Business is business. And it's no wonder the venues take revenge on the ticket holders | |
