Mini Biography
Jeff Scott Soto has made a name for himself as a singer, writer, performer & producer the past 25 years, at age 18 when he started singing with Swedish guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen. Through the years, he has sung lead vocals on over 60 albums of varying styles mainly with longtime band Talisman. Jeff sang with the vocals for the movie soundtrack 'Rock Star', supplying lead vocals for the character Bobby Beers, played by Jayson Fleming, who Mark Wahlberg's character replaced in the fictitious band Steel Dragon. In 2004, Jeff joined forces with Neal Schon of Journey to form the band Soul SirkUS but the band was short lived after their one & only album. In 2006, Jeff was brought in to sing for the band Journey & the stint lasted 1 year in which Jeff was replaced by Arnel Pineda. Jeff has released 4 solo albums, Love Parade (1994), Prism (2002), Lost In The Translation (2005) & Beautiful Mess (2009). Jeff has been linked with Brian May & Roger Taylor through the years as possibly the next frontman for Queen.

It's been less than two weeks since we pondered the possibility of American Idol's Adam Lambert taking over Freddie Mercury's duties as Queen's lead singer. Then came his performance of "We Are The Champions" on the show. Now our rock & roll fantasy might actually become a reality. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Queen's Brian May says that while there is nothing set in stone, he and drummer Roger Taylor "are definitely hoping to have a meaningful conversation with him at some point." May went on to say that "I’d certainly like to work with Adam. That is one amazing instrument he has there.” OK, so it's not a definitive yes, but it certainly seems like things are heading in the right direction. Or should Lambert just go his own way? I mean, the guy has the goods to make his own name in rock (Daughtry, anyone?). What do you think, Music Mixers? Should Adam Lambert join an already established band like Queen, or just start fresh?

Wait and see Simon. That was just a link I found on the net. Adam Lambert seems a good choice since the departure of Paul Rodgers.

Adam Lambert would make a fine Galileo in WWRY, but he would not make a good frontman for Queen.
If you read Brian May's post on his website, he is a bit clearer that they wouldn't mind performing with Lambert, but that they aren't entering into any long term replacement deals with anyone just yet.
Big difference between 'like to work with the fella, he's got a great voice' and 'gee, we're thinking of making him our new frontman'.

I visited the link too Personne and to tell you the truth really is not a good source to believe it and now the Queen thing is another mystery of the bussiness.

Who wrote it? Who is JES?

JSS is 6' 3" (1.91 mts) and Simon is 5' 9'' (1.80 mts)

Jeff is taller, nearly 1.93 mts!

I guess that JES is some1 who have an account there and is able to edit bios but is doesn't mean that is 100% correct like this case.
