Steve Lukather interview - JSS reference

Great interview, but this little nugget stood out.

Valerie Nerres: There was a rumor of you doing some work with Jeff Scot Soto. Is that still a possibility?

Steve Lukather: That’s a very real possibility. As a matter of fact, we’re talking about putting together an All-Star project. But that wouldn’t happen till the end of 2009 because I’m pretty much on the road until the end of summer 2009. It takes a while to get really great guys together. I’ve talked to a few people who are very interested in doing it. Jeff is one of the great vocalists of our time; this guy should be a superstar. He’s one of the great talents.

Its nice to hear one of the giants of classic rock praising Jeff’s talents and saying what we of course already know – that he should be a superstar. Sounds good for the future too.

Of course Jeff should be a superstar! Thanks for posting this Marty, and I hope this project will see the light finally...

A super band project with JSS and Lukather! That would be fantastic, I can't wait! I just hope more success than the excellent Soul sirkus!
