| Hello.
I'm urging you to not just support Jeff on sites such as this (which is great). Journey still needs to know how bad they screwed up. Please, go to any public forum that is about Journey and post your displeasure. Do it over and over and over and over and over again.
Do not let them get away with it. Things have been calming down. Business is about to pick up.

| How about just spreading the word about Jeff 's amazing talent, his wonderful human spirit instead of sounding like we like to re-hash everything over and over again like a broken record??!! I am strongly against the way Journey treated Jeff, but let's just get Jeff out there...Journey who??

Show some Jeff love! Definitely. Speaking of which, not sure if its been mentioned on this site before (so apologies if I'm repeating), any of you on Facebook, there's a JSS group on there called Jeff Scott Soto is love.

| Do not be naive. Jeff has a lot of noteriety in the U.S. finally and his profile here is at it's zenith because of the last year. Do not run from any Journey forum. Bringing his name up on those sites is a positive. The JSS Rocks avatar thing going on at melodicrock is awesome. Do not put your heads in the sand and make me go medieval here. Now stop being a bunch of wussies (AR lite, see Kim? LOL) and go promote! In fact flood every Journey site with discussions about the new demos - especially "Broken Man". | |

| As much as I hated what Journey did, the Journey fan base is already very aware of what Jeff can do - its almost like preaching to the converted (although many Journey fans didn't like Jeff's approach). The better way would be to spread the word to all the other music sites - this new material is not purely melodic rock, its a melange of many of the influences on Jeff's career.
So, if you are able to tell others, do so.

| AR, those who chose to go to the Melrock board and voice their displeasure of Jeff being fired from Journey may do so but we are still going to keep this board and support him here. Journey has made their decision and they will have to live with it. They aren't going to listen to a bunch of people bitching on a message board. The best thing we can do is continue to support him by turning as many people on to his music as we can, which is what i've been doing for the past 5 years. If you want to keep griping on the Melrock board then feel free. That is your choice. Teri | |

In fact flood every Journey site with discussions about the new demos - especially "Broken Man". Promoting and bashing are two different things. Sure, I'll promote Jeff the best way I know how but I am not going to bash Journey any longer. It's just a waste of time IMO. What's done is done. AR lite? I'm afraid to ask!

| What is very interesting (although it shouldn't be any surprise) is that, despite the crap ladled out to him, Jeff hasn't felt it necessary to 'bad-mouth' his ex-colleagues in Journey. There is no need, he is much better than that.
The next stage in his career needs for us to talk about him anywhere and everywhere - almost every music blog site you can find, and even some that you can't.
I'm listening to the demos as I write and tbqh they are something else, I just wish that there was a way to get them past the gatekeepers of the commercial stations where those who love good rock music congregate. If I win the UK Government swindle (aka the 'national Lottery') then there is no doubt what I would invest in.
If only we could create the 'buzz' that 'Arctic Monkeys' created when they did whatever it was they did. I wouldn't mind being branded a 'me too' product if it brought Jeff to the attention of those who matter - the audience across the world.
'Cry me A River' is on right now and WTF it is so good - and I can just picture the big lunk performing it with a full band, backing vocalists and the best light show in the world.

| Uncle Hefty couldn't have expressed it any better I know I will always try my best to promote Jeff and his music anywhere I can. As a freelance writer , my piece on Jeff joining Journey was an introduction to my readers here in my city and I hope to have a follow-up from the South bend show...to further prove what an amazing artist he is!
