PostSubject: Im a working Mum!   Tue May 15, 2007 6:18 pm

Just thought I'd post this because I am very pleased with myself!!
I have been a stay at home Mum now for nearly 3 years and yesterday I was offered a job!! Very Happy It's only 4 days a week for 4 hours each day but It is a big step for me, especially because it's been so long since I have worked!.
I must admit I am a little nervous and a bit haprehensive, I know I'm going to miss my daughter so much whilst I am working but at least I know that I can do both and I'll still be a good mum no matter what! Smile
Anyway thanks for reading! Rolling Eyes I know I've gone on a bit Rolling Eyes

Congrats Cheyenne! Taking care of children is great, but you've also got to have a "social life" without them. And working is part of this social life imo. I stayed at home during 2 years but was really happy to find a job (now it has changed because of my boss, but that's another story Laughing ).
When do you start?

Sorry I have not replied until now I've had a few problems with my PC and also now it is finding the time to get on my computer since I have started work!
I started 2 weeks ago and I am loving it! Very Happy
I must admitt I do miss being at home with my daughter but It's not as if I never see her! And the time we do spend together now seems much more precious if you know what I mean? Smile
Anyway speaking of family and work I must go now as I need to get my daughter to bed and things ready for a hard days work tommorow!
Bye for now. Smile

Congrats on your job! I can't imagine not working. I've been working since I was 17, without a break. I'd love to stay at home for a while but it's not going to happen unless I win the lottery! In fact, I really need a second job.
Teri

I can't imagine not working, either. Been working since I was 18, and right now work is my only source of SANITY! I just can't be around home for more than necessary, sad to say!

I've been working since the age of 16 and just desided to take time out to start a family, I loved every minute of it and now I'm loving being back at work! Very Happy
