Hi everyone,

Long time no chat.

I just ordered my TSO tickets for this December to catch JSS with them again and they also made an offer to pre-order the CD that I believe JSS is on called Night Castle. Apparently the CD has been in the works for several years and finally has been given a release date of October 27. If you pre order the CD in MP3 format, they will give you 5 songs now and a prompt to download the remainder of the CD on the release date.

Does anyone know what songs JSS sings on this CD?

Here is the link for the download

Here is another article on the Trans Siberian Orchestra CD that's coming out in a few weeks. The article describes JSS's particpation on the CD as quoted below:

"Night Castle" is TSO's second non-Christmas rock opera, following "Beethoven's Last Night" in 2000. At is heart is the story of a U.S. Army special forces officer (Lt. William Crozier, voiced by former Journey and Yngwie Malsteen singer Jeff Scott Soto) and his journey to fight the Khmer Rouge in the early '70s Killing Fields of Cambodia. "It's an anti-evil album," explains O'Neill, who co-produced the album with Robert Kinkel. "What happened in Cambodia still breaks my heart. The things humans can do against humans never ceases to blow my mind, but somehow in the end good always wins and gives us hope. I think that resonates, especially with what's going on now in the world."

Jeff sing's the lead on one of the bonus tracks, "Dreams We Conceive" and sings in the choir of "Night Enchanted". I believe he sings on a few others on the yet to be released CD as well.

Can't financially swing the CD right now, but will ASAP. Fortunately, got my TSO tix prior to job situations getting funky here.

Thanks for sharing the information. Can't wait to hear it!
